    Terms of Service

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Technology On Call website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

    2. Services

    Technology On Call provides IT support, technology consulting, website development, digital marketing, and related services for home-based, small, and medium-sized businesses. Services are provided on a project basis, hourly rate, or as otherwise agreed upon in writing.

    3. Service Availability

    We strive to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

    4. Client Responsibilities

    • Provide accurate and complete information necessary for service delivery.
    • Maintain the security of your own accounts, passwords, and systems.
    • Back up your data before any service work is performed.
    • Communicate in a timely manner regarding project requirements and feedback.

    5. Payment Terms

    Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements or invoices. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of services. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

    6. Intellectual Property

    Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom work product created specifically for them, unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement. Technology On Call retains the right to use general techniques, knowledge, and non-proprietary tools developed during service delivery.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    Technology On Call shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

    8. Data Loss

    While we take reasonable precautions, Technology On Call is not responsible for data loss that may occur during service delivery. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups prior to any work being performed.

    9. Third-Party Services

    We may recommend or integrate third-party tools and services. We are not responsible for the terms, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party providers.

    10. Termination

    Either party may terminate the service relationship with reasonable written notice. Fees for work already completed remain due upon termination.

    11. Governing Law

    These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

    12. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
